Somewhat random things about me:
- third culture kid (but what do you call them when they grow up?)
- lived in 3 different countries, Japan being the longest stint
- moved home every 2. 7 years on average (whether it's to another city or country)
- have 1.5 postgraduate degrees (working on one now)
I love studying and learning something new. I'm now working on Japanese for a postgraduate degree. I only started studying Japanese formally (ie. through grammar and vocabulary books) in 2011. Before that, I just picked up whatever conversational Japanese through my friends and family. It's probably a little easier doing this learning backwards but I'm just amazed at all the stuff I never knew...
